Hotel Habakuk is seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef whose creativity, commitment, and organizational skills will enhance our culinary offerings. Responsibilities
- Leading the kitchen staff and organizing daily tasks and food preparation.
- Planning and preparing a variety of dishes, including meals for pension packages, à la carte offerings, and special events.
- Ensuring the quality and taste of prepared dishes and introducing new culinary ideas.
- Adhering to HACCP standards and maintaining the highest level of hygiene in the kitchen.
- Organizing and managing inventory, overseeing the freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Keeping accurate records and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and related work areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, especially in hotel or restaurant kitchens.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to lead a kitchen team.
- Independence, responsibility, and attention to detail in your work.
- Commitment to high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
